I have always had a fascination with wildlife and often drew animals when I was younger; the peregrine falcon was one of my first drawings and was my favourite bird of prey as a child.
The peregrine is renowned for its speed, reaching over 320 km/h (200 mph) during its characteristic high-speed hunting dive making it the fastest bird in the world, as well as the fastest animal.
